You want to do everything in your power to make sure weather isn't going to be a problem. Therefore, the best thing you can do is to schedule your movie viewing for a time of the year when weather is least likely to pose a problem. You want to make sure you have tarps or canopies you can use to cover all equipment should it start to sprinkle. As long as it doesn't rain too hard or for too long, you may be surprised at the amount of people who won't mind sitting in a little bit of sprinkles. Snacks and drinks
People always want to snack and drink when they are watching a movie. Therefore, you are going to want to have some snacks available. Some easy and affordable options include popcorn and hotdogs. You can also have canned sodas and bottled water available.

The good news is you can rent a movie generator and all the other equipment you need, such as a screen, so you won't have to purchase this equipment for a single viewing. Even if you are going to have more than one viewings, you may still find it better to rent the equipment unless you plan on these movie viewings being a regular and ongoing thing.
